The news feeders of social media sites also aimed to become the most reliable source of news like these mediums.
For a recent study the statistics of people has been revealed who prefer social sites for news sharing and finding. It is explored that the people between the age 16 to 24 are twice as likely to search the news on social media networking sites than the search engines. Whereas, the older generation still prefer the search engines and newspaper for news finding rather than the social media sites. Almost 33% of the people above 45 years prefer search engines and locally published newspapers and only 11% prefer social media sites.
