Role of Facebook in turning teenagers in to gamblers

Facebook is playing a vital role in turning the teen agers in to the gamblers. Teenagers are becoming gambling addicts because of Facebook gambling games. Many experts have already warned Facebook that if they won’t stop promoting casino type games on their social networking site, they will turn the teens in to gamblers.
Latest reports issued by the experts of UK have shown that teens consider that the gambling is the harmless fun. Additionally, the reporters of Daily Mail have also highlighted the adverse impact of the casino games on Facebook. Daily Mail report says that teen agers use the virtual coins to play the thrilling games. They gamble for the jackpot of roulettes and slot machine games from the virtual coin.
Another fact is, Facebook does not allow the accounts for the children under the age of 13 years. This is the lowest age for registering the Facebook account. However, fact is quite opposite. In fact the kids under 13 years have their Facebook accounts. Kids usually enter false data and become Facebook member. At this age, kids are more prone to games. Facebook with dozens of casino games become reason for catching the attention of the kids. Kids start playing games without realising the adverse effects.
Even the government of the different countries has set the minimum age for playing the gambling games. For instance, the minimum age for gambling games in UK is 18 years. This is the legal age in Britain still kids under 13 years are playing the gambling games.
The germs of Facebook are floating in every home equipped with smart phone devices and the personal computers. In fact, parents also find them helpless in stopping their children from not playing gambling games. Facebook is a home of dozens of casino games. These include the slot mania, jack pot joy, double down casino, Zynga, Fluff friends etc.
These games are quite famous. They are almost equal in fame as the other social games are. The evidence of their fame is clear from the share of Zynga. Only Zynga is capturing the 12 percent share of the Facebook revenue. The fame of Zynga can also be known from the fact that last month Zynga slot machines have been launched in the casinos of UK.
A parent warned Facebook and try to grab their attention towards the gambling issue when her 13 years old daughter start feeling upset when she loosed virtual money on Fluff friends. She said that if this issue is not rectified and solved then children will become habitual from the younger age and it will be a huge problem to stop them from gambling activities, in the long term. She further added that gambling is the lifelong risk and children will become problem makers.
GamCare is UK based charity organisation. They have dictated the Gambling Commission to scrutinize the social gaming issues at Facebook. This issue is quite challenging, as gambling games can be enjoyed and played free of cost. Thus, kids feel encouraging while playing the games. So, the question is how this commission will stop kids?
Mr. Mandy Barrie director of Gambling Commission has said that they have to be very careful in fighting against this risk. Because, early exposure to the gambling games develops huge problem in the adulthood.
In this regard, the Facebook spokesperson added that they will also play their part in stopping the kids from not to play the gambling games. They will abide by the local law of gambling and will bind their guidelines for their game developers.
