On Wednesday, NBC and Facebook have announced their Olympics partnership. NBC Olympics has found a way to know about the social conversation going-on related to the Olympics London, staring from 27th of July. They have chosen Facebook social media site for listening to the sports lovers and talking back. The users of the Facebook have been reminded about the NBC’s coverage of Olympic Games, this summer. NBC viewers have also been privileged to talk about the Olympics Games on the Facebook site.
Data generated from Facebook about the Olympics Games will be shared on NBC universal and other TV channels that are going to telecast the portion of Olympic Games. Facebook Talk Meter will be occasionally telecasted on TV to reflect the social gossips taking place about Olympic Games on Facebook.
Since last Olympic Games 2008, world has encountered the ever lasting relationship between the TV and the web. Facebook is the hub of 900 million users and second screen.
